Interpreting Adults’ Eyewear Frame Dimensions

Standardizing adult eyewear, prescription frames, and sunglasses requires correlating precise optical measurements—including lens width, bridge width, and temple arm length in millimeters—with international size specifications. Because optical frames must maintain a balanced, secure fit across the face structure and nose bridge without causing pressure points, sizing spans from narrow petite brackets through oversized scales.

When utilizing this matrix for frame selection or size conversion, reference individual millimeter dimensions alongside fit classifications to account for regional manufacturing variations across international optical markets.
